Vitamin D supplementation in pregnancy

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommends that pregnant women with vitamin d levels between 30 – 49 nmol/l should take 1000 IU vitamin d daily.
Pregnant women with levels < 30 nmol/l should commence 2000 IU vitamin D daily.
Pregnant women with Vitamin D level above 50 nmol/lshould take 400 IU vitamin D daily as part of a pregnancy multivitamin.
